Our multi age sessions run for 2 hours full of child led nature play, and learning provocations to embrace your child’s curiosities. Each month’s session will have a different intention:
- Natural Elements (fire & water)
- Hand tools – whittlings, hand drills, hammers, saws
- Flora and fauna identification
- Eco crafts and nature journaling
- Knots and shelter

Ropes & Shelter
This session’s intention is all about rope play! Learning knots, designing, planning & creating shelters. There will be ropes, tarps, learning resources to assist instructions. Use the ropes to build shelters, swing or zip ….the possibilities are endless
12 May 1-3pm Field of Mars Reserve

Fire Striking & Camp Cooking
Learn how to ‘firestrike’ with a flint & steel, we will have plenty of time to practice this art.
We will learn to build, manage and cook on our very own campfire. Enjoy making damper and maybe even a sweet treat yum!
8 June 1-3pm Bluegum Park (Chatswood Scout Hall)

Intro to Whittling
This session has the intention of learning to whittle. We will have both whittling peelers and pocket knives available. Using your new skill and some imagination, what will you create? A stick person, wand, staff, endless possibilities when a stick is not a stick.
